My Curse by Dorian Sounde
a pain flows through my life-force,
but it carries me,
I feel it.
Taken hostage by the notion that I'll be ok,
too much time wasted looking over my shoulder, waiting for trauma.
The Joo-Joo that the Hoodoo magic man sent has clung to my essence,
It is all that I am, all that I know.
At every corner, I turn, and it's there.
In the darkness, it is my light.
I embrace it, or else it'd drag me down.
It's not what I wanted, it's not what I planned for, but it is here, and it has consumed me.
I tried to beat it, push it down.
Fear turned to loathing, loathing to interest...once I was interested, it took control.
It's like the picture of Phil Collins that I got signed by Paul Daniels...it makes little sense, but it's mine, and I treasure it.
This Hoodoo, this Jinx, it sets me apart,
It's my curse,
Friend, Earth, Soul by Brittaina Goffy
you blame me for
hell, Trump, apocalypse, drought
you are my best
I am cursed
a hero's curse
I must live for
oil, death, drought,
for wretched life
The Last Curse by Ambrozya
A broken plate
Lost my keys
Was followed in the night
Broke an ankle
Missed a flight
Until one day
