Winchester Street, Futurescape and UToPia
!! These three books contain adult language and themes !!
Winchester Street is a fictional road in a fictional British city. The book acts like a fly on the wall for several houses, giving glimpses of the residents lives and secrets. Each poem was inspired by some experience or news I had heard. Each poem is linked by the fact a police car is coming down the street and echoes the vibe of ‘are they coming for me?’

Futurescape is inspired by my love of Sci-fi. It draws on inspiration from classic films such as ‘The Day The Earth Stood Still’ ‘The Time Machine’ ‘When Worlds Collide’ and ‘Planet Of The Apes’. Each poem focuses on the human condition, a theme that classic Sci-fi is drenched in.

UToPia is inspired by the various Utopian writers such as Plato, Sir Thomas More, Oscar Wilde and Karl Marx. In a future dystopian setting, the people are beginning to rebel and reject the society forced upon them. The idea of this book was to show how one person’s words could have a ripple effect and influence different minds in different ways.

Night's Dream
A short book of poetry inspired by William Shakespeare’s famous play ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’. Each poem uses a relationship or character to explore extreme emotion.
First in a series of three books. |
Monsters
Several years ago we had the idea of starting a poetry movement called ‘Monster Observer’. The idea was that the writer would take the guise of a monster and write from their viewpoint. Several poets worked with us but nothing came of it. We decided recently to revive the idea but reinvent it. The point of this poetry book is to act like the sleeve of an album. Each poem is a song, recorded by the Monsters and released for your listening pleasure.
Featuring poetry from Gallimaufry the Ineffable and Jim Reaper. |
Blaidh's Tales - The Complete Works
This book is a collection of all 60 tales from the Taralla Dahralla.
The tales include stories about giants, trolls, magical cats, princes, princesses, witches, dragons and puppets. Written in poetic verse and ideal for storytelling. Some themes are a little mature and require parental guidance if read to a young audience. This book also includes extended versions of the original stories as well as bonus poems of classic fairy tales. |
